Who else has been feeling...different? - Page 2

yes! i'm definitely feeling different - much different. until about a week and half ago i had energy and then all of the sudden it has completely disappeared. and, i'm also have the out-of-body experiences and cannot remember for the life of me what i really did this past weekend. my brain feels like it has officially left my head.

i've been getting the period-like cramps for the past few days, have a few waves of nausea every now and then and am very achey when i get up in the morning - almost like i've been riding a horse or something. so weird.

it's nice to know i'm not alone.

Definately tired. I feel like I just can't peel myself off the couch then -bam- I'll get a burst of energy and clean out the shed (yesterday). Oh, yes, that's so helpful...we'll be spending so much time with our little baby in the tool shed. WTH was I thinking?

I'm also really pulling in around myself. Sooooooo not interested in anything not having to do with my family. I've quit going to choir and I even skipped church yesterday because I just didn't want to deal with people. I'm tired of talking baby with everyone and their brother...except you guys! I'm getting very focused and just so not interested in small talk, KWIM?

I hear you ladies! In addition to the all consuming fatigue I caught DD's head cold and it is kicking my in the rear BIG time. I am also so tired of people asking when they are going to "take those babies". First of all, nobody is taking anybody, and second, I am NOT DUE until the end of OCTOBER!!! Shut Up! I get at least 2 calls a night asking if I am STILL pregnant! Well duh, of cpurse I am. It is especially hard talking to the friends that have not had children yet. They just can't understnad why I won't let the doctors cut me open like last week and end it all. : This does not help me to be more patient with the 3 year old drama queen that is very done with mama being pregnant. Thank Goodness it's bedtime.

Wow! That's me to at "T!" I'm hoping that it means I'll have the baby soon since at my last appointment (today) they told me I was measuring 42 cm - up from 38 ten days ago!! :

I am so glad to read this thread and hear that I am not the only one feeling some of these things. I feel rotten. Honestly, I don't think I've ever felt worse in my life than this pregnancy. I've felt poisoned the whole time, from all the vomiting, all the food adversions, digestive upsets, heartburn - oh the heartburn! I threw up a few days ago for no apparent reason and spent the whole day yesterday feeling like I could throw up at the least suggestion. I actually bent over the trash can to throw something away last night and the mere suggestion of being that close to it made me gag.

I am anemic and tired. Any physical activity makes me so fatigued - like muscle tired and short of breath. It's nuts. I just want to hide in bed til this is over.

And the BH contractions! I had them with the first but they were just a tightening with no pain at all. These hurt! They hurt down low and I'm getting the cervical twinges you ladies are talking about too.

I never had any of this with the first pregnancy. If I had felt that bad with the first one, we'd be a one bio child family. This is definately my last pregnancy. I don't ever want to feel this bad again. Nine months of feeling horrible is really enough.

i had another appointment with the midwife today, and she told me i'm 2-3 cm dialated and 50% effaced. i'm forcing myself to remain calm, but at the same time it feels good to know that my body is doing what it needs to do!

maybe we don't have too long to go now, media mama!

Well...not to burst your bubble, but I was 2-3cm dilated and 100% effaced at my 36 week appt. and didn't deliver for another 3 1/2 weeks...it could still be a while.

: I am sorry to tell you this as well. With my first PG I was 2-3cm and 75% weeks before I was induced past my due date. Byt he time they did give me the pit. I didn't need anything else to get rolling because I was 4-5cm and 100% before I even got to the hospital.

I'm totally beat as well. I feel EXHAUSTED all the time, like I just can't get enough sleep! I wake up tired, walk around all day tired, take a nap or TWO during the day whenever I can... the only time I'm not tired is when I'm supposed to go to bed! :

Plus I got a cold suddenly yesterday! I took the day of work. I just can't handle sitting inside under fluorescent lighting all day while feeling like s**t!

Did you notice how many of us have colds? Between the change of seasons and the end of pregnancy I have no defense against this crud. I remember this happening during my last pg too. I was worried about breathing during labor, but the cold cleared up on it's own before she was born.

Being pregnant, we have slightly compromised immune systems anyway. I think the fatigue of the end really lets us get the bugs that are going around. I think we should all be taking vitamin c (as sodium ascorbate if you can find it.)

DH is having a hard time at his job right now (he's injured his wrist and they're three people down so he's almost single-handedly running the kitchen in the mornings) so he can't wait to take time off. He's trying power of suggestion, so every night he'll look at me and say very seriously, "Tomorrow, at ten o'clock in the morning, you are going to go into labour."

And then at around 11am he calls me and asks "how I'm doing".

Well, I've been having those period-like cramps for three days now and even though they are further apart, they are gaining in intensity. : What the heck? Oh well, I guess when the time comes, the time comes.

I have been soooooooo tired though. I'm sleeping really well, with exception to the occasional pee breaks. But I'm not having trouble going back to sleep over the last few days, yea! And then I just feel really drowsy throughout the day. I think its just my body telling me to get some rest now b/c in another few weeks, no more consistent sleep!

Would you mind envisioning this for me, too? I could use it after two very long labours! However, I'm happy to say that I do have perfect, beautiful babies as it is. I'm a tad biased, though

I'm so right there with you ladies, feeling tired and no motivation to do much of anything. I find myself on the couch most of the day while my 2 yr old dd plays or sits next to me watching tv. NOT a good mommy right now, but I just can't move. My house seems to be a disaster zone, I tend to make a larger mess / clutter of things as I try to clear out clutter from a room. It's just overwhelming I guess.

I'm so not prepared, I'm planning on a natural hospital birth like last time, and quick like last time, but that means I have yet to reread a hypnobirthing book. (I wish I got more into hypnobirth techniques this time around, but time is running out fast) I haven't excersised down there if you know what I mean. I should be able to read on the couch right??? HA! only if I was feeling motivated!!

almost 35 weeks ... I so need that last burst of energy these last few weeks!!!!
