I have a lot of businss stuff to do first before I can do fun crafts again!

I'd love to but mainly do kid's stuff, not sure what I could come up with for mamas? I'm game though, count me in! Maybe this will spur my creativity some more

let me know,

I'd love to, but I'm 1/3 in the last swaps... ie, I still haven't received 2/3 of the swaps that I participated in, so I'm a little bummed for swaps recently. I'd love to trade with YOU again, though, momschooling. As you know, my dd LOVES the outfit you made her, and I'd love to get another of your creations!

By the way, did you notice your new byline? nudge nudge

AWESOME!!!! HOW SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel SO special - seriously!!!!

What a bummer that people didn't honor their swaps before!!

I missed out on the last ones, too!

Count me in- I just went to a gem and mineral show and have some extremely groovy new beads that are begging for a project.

can I get in on it? I have some ideas... How does it work?
me too.

I'm interested, but are there guidelines? For example, is there a dollar amount or a time limit we should aim to stay under?

I suppose we should set some sort of guidelines.

I'd hate to have a mama spend hours on sewing something, then get a bookmark in return.

In honor of my "cheap crafting ideas" thread, how about if we try to keep it really cheap and more re-using/recycling themed?

Let's say, less than $5 in materials? An hour of crafting?

Naturally, you're welcome to do more - just realize you may not get something comparable in return!!

How are you going to pair mamas up? And what is your "deadline" for receiving the swaps? Need a few more details ironed out I think.

Let us know,
Ann

How to pair them up? - I was just going to pick names out of a hat. (Since the guidelines are all the same).

I'd say ship absolutely no later than May 5th. This can be a Cinco de Mayo ship out!

One more question -- can it be something for a child or does it have to be geared toward Mom?
I think it is only for mama. Sorry babies!

Maximum supplies cost - $5
1 Hour Craft Time (can do more, but realize you may not receive something equal).

If you do not send your end of the swap (without previous arrangments) you may be banned from future crafty swaps (I'll have to discuss that with Cynthia). PLEASE only sign up if you are willing to hold up your end. I'd hate for someone to be left without a gift (and may even make something myself if this happens).

PM me with your name, address, email, and any particular likes or dislikes - especially taking care to include allergies and political stances (ie. vegans). I'd hate for a vegan to get something made of wool or leather who wouldn't appreciate that at all.

The ship date on these will be no later than May 5th, please!

You may ship parcel post, if you like, but please take care to package it carefully.

As people send their information, I will reply to them in pairs and swap those names (so first to reply will be paired with second to reply and so on).

PLEASE post ideas here on this thread, for those who are having trouble coming up with something. I've found this to be most helpful in other swaps.

Happy Day!

We need ONE more mama to have even pairs!

Anyone else up to it??
I am! I forget to check this thread, and often hop on just too late to join the swaps!

If you want to know if I am dependable, I have a couple of moms I traded some of the stuff I made for cast-off diaper stuff with... So can I? Huh Huh? Can I? pleeeeeeeeeeese!
I have some ideas already!
