How do I know if daycare is state funded?

I am planning on enrolling my DS in an in-home daycare next year, and I don't know if she is receiving state funding or not. In other words, I'm trying to find out if can I use the personal exemption opportunity in my state or will I have to find a new daycare (or catch up on his shots - which is not something I want to do).

I actually asked her today, and she didn't really know either. She said she used to do the reduced lunch program, but not anymore. She has been doing this for 20 yrs, but has never had a child come in unvaxed. Fortunately, she isn't concerned - yay!!! With the exception of course, when the licensing board comes through next May, she has to be in compliance, etc.

Is there someone to call? Has anyone gone through this? Thanks.

even private can use them, as long as she has your exemption she is fine, and if she has no problem accepting your child, you are doubly blessed

I was a bit nervous when I called her to ask. I think because she is older, she understands better.
