Heroes?? - Page 2

i loved it! i missed it last night and my parents saw it and recommended i check it out. i'm so glad i did. the characters are fascinating. i'm thinking peter actually doesn't have super powers, but he's required to make his brother a super hero because he has such a tendancy to be self-absorbed.
can't wait to see more!

I would like to see a show. what nite?
I think it's on again tonight at 8pm on NBC.

Peter was the guy who thought he could fly? If so, I think he's an Empath too. He kept seeing his brother in his dreams, he felt him when he got in his accident so many years ago, and he's a nurse. He's drawn to help people, and he loves his brother despite faults
I'm in love, this is the best show I've seen since Farscape!

We checked this out, and thought that it looked pretty interesting. I am not sure of anyone's names on here yet, but I think that this is a new show that we will be attempting to follow.

I loved tha Asian guy. It is so cool when he "got" his power. I was rolling when he teleported himself into the ladies room.

The mirror woman freaked me out. Could she be a villian and not know it because her mirror self could get all crazy....

I really enjoyed it.

I loved loved loved this show! I actually came on MDC expecting a post to be on the first page, and was all wth?

I actually predicted that it was the brother that would fly and not Peter, but I think they both have powers that are similar but separate, and that possibly they may need each other to work together the most effectively. Either Peter can levitate, brother can fly. Or Peter is an Empath and ...??? Not sure what else.

Ack, gotta run...

Shelley, I was startingt to think I was the only one! I predicted that it would be the prim and proper brother who ended up flying also.

I'm looking forward to see where the show is headed!

Another great episode tonight! I'm glad they finally brought in the psychic cop character.. (forgot his name). I wanted more of his story so I'm very excited to see next week's show. Wow, what a surprise that the teleporter was actually in the future. .didn't see that one coming. So much gore in this show though! I wish they didn't have so much, my five year old was so excited to see this show but it's just too icky in some parts. He's bummed.

Did anybody else notice that the gun that was at the scene of the artist's murder was the same gun that the fake exterminator had, and that when he kicked Mohinder, Mo flew across the room like the guy had super strength... and then at the scene of the family murder, the cops were commenting on the strength it must have taken to hoist that lady up like that? It's all got to be the same guy. The cheerleader's father probably employed a super to do his dirty work for him

Boy, I'm offically hooked on this show..

I also noticed that the weird shape in the paintings in the artists place in the future was repeated in the text the mohinder found on the hard drive from his dad. I wonder what else is hidden in the background.

Liam.

I'm hooked on this show, too! I wish I could see next weeks episode already!

Did you notice that the weird shape was also in the swimming pool at the house where the murders were and little girl was at?

I wonder what the Japanese guy will do with his knowledge of the future.

I love Greg Grunberg (the cop)! I thought he would end up in another JJ Abrams show, though (like six degrees), since he always seems to land a part in one (Felicity, Alias, pilot in Lost).

LOVED the show last night. My daughter is getting into it as well (she is 7) We talked for hours about what powers we would pick to have. I think I would go for the bending time and telaport one.

My daughter was the one that pointed out the wavy shape to me. I wonder what that has to do with the story. I can't wait to find out.

I don't think the cop is psychic I think he can read people's thoughts.

You called that one real close didn't you?

Oh I can't wai to see what happens. This is why I usually wait till they come to DVD before I watch them...cuz I hate waiting for the next one!

Yes, my kids are the ones who spotted the pattern, too. I thought I saw it in the dirt/sand where the woman was digging at the end, but maybe not.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with kids watching - it's pretty gruesome in parts. My 9yo definitely has to cover his face. I hope it gets to be less of that.

YES!!!!!

I also do not think the woman who is helping Mohinder, is "helping Mohinder". She kept on looking at him strange.

Maybe they were looks of....luuuuv. :

Love this show!! I Don't think of it as about "surperheroes" it s about "hereos" and those things are totally different.

I dowloaded the premiere because I thought DH would like it and we watched it and the second episode together last night. We were FREAKING out. Wow. We don't have TV anymore so this one just seemed to come out of nowhere.

So insanely good.

I would NOT want to have Nikki's super power, it seems so scary. Nate thought she might be a villian which sucks for her.

Hiro was hilarious and so perfectly Japanese. I was very glad they got an actualy Japanese actor to play his character

I fast forward through the scary parts! I can't take scary.

However, scary parts aside, I love this show! It has really piqued my interest and I can't wait for next week's episode.
