Heroes?? - Page 3

Ds was freaking out! Cliffhanger indeed. Saw the guy who can hear voices/FBI thing coming...totally.

Whoa, I can't wait to see what happens!

So, that strange symbol was on Claire's textbook when she was pulling it out of her locker, and it was also on that bad guy's necklace in the bar. It was weird how the cop couldn't "read" his mind, it was totally silent when he was trying to listen.

I love Hiro and his friend! They're so funny!

I've been wondering, has Hiro read the end of the comic book? I think he has but it lead me to the next question: If he is now changing history(which technically he really isn't if the comic book is leading him) does the comic book's story change along with him?

Did that make sense?

Can't wait till next week.

And ummmm...the guy in the club gave me shivers.

I wonder who Claire's dad works for/with. I mean when Claire's dad was in Mohinder's apt he was talking to someone, maybe he was talking to Sylar.

Must rewatch the show tonight.

We are really into this show too! Its very gripping. My husband had been so curious about it for months. He was loving the little 30 second commercials they were playing all summer with brief little moments of each "heros" abilities.

We LOVE Hiro! "I DID IT!" Its so cute, like when my 5 year old boy does something well and gets so full of pride and excitement. I love it!

What I want to know is when did Claire discover her abilities? has she always been indestructible or did it develop recently? And if it developed recently, I wonder why it developed when it did. LIke what was the catalyst on that?

also, for a young girl she sure is accident prone. She's been killed "naturally" like twice now. Rough week.

I love Hiro too! He was able to stop time and affect people around him. That was way cool. Boy once he came into his powers he really mastered them.

erin, I wish she's be more careful but I know they just have to use those special effects...

I was seriously bummed that they had to put in a rape attempt. I know, I know, it gives those TV ratings for a reason, but ugh. I hated that my sons saw it.

I think he did read to the end of the comic book, because it said, "To be continued..." at the end of it. So, he's kinda winging it now. He told his friend they are changing history. I'm not sure how many more comic books are published already. But remember that art pad the artist had at the end, when he was flipping through it? It had the picture of his ex kissing the guy who can fly... I wonder when he drew that... is he aware of what he is drawing at the time, or is he always in his "high" state and later looks at the work he has done.

Erin- My dh said the same exact thing... Claire sure gets into a lot of accidents for a young girl.

ETA: I forgot to add that it's been renewed for a second season!
How do you find that out? I'm curious whether Brothers and Sisters is going to stick.

I heard about the renewal on Brilliantbutcancelled.com

I had to tell my daughters to close their eyes.

The only thing I don't like about this show is that they make the artists charecter unable to do his future art unless he is on drugs. It makes no sense to me that he is unable to access power unless he is on drugs.

I'm also kinda confused as to how they are going to play this out considering that the explosion is supposed to only be 5 weeks away. So what happens after that?
Actually I think it's not a requirement, just easier for him to do it. I'm hoping that as he "comes into" his power more he'll also be able to kick the habit with Simone's/The brother's help.

Somehow he writes a whole comic book, looking into the future. I don't think you could do that while high on drugs.

Liam.

Actually he has said it at least twice that he requires it, it was even in this weeks episode. Right at the begining when his girlfriend says that she was selling some of his paintings to pay for him to go to rehab he says that he won't be able to paint the future without his drugs.
I thought the same thing Ard. Re: the drugs, what happens after the explosion.

I think he takes the drugs because he needs to be in a lucid state and drugs are the only way for him. Hopefully as the weeks come he can find another way cause I'm getting tired of the "I need to get high" face he is making.

Ack! I so wanted to post here last night but our internet had the flu. :

I really want to like this show! The plot is intriguing, it has good production values (it doesn't look cheap) and the actors are decent. I love Hiro. I let out a breath of relief when his story comes up. I love the cop.

But it's too gory and creepy! I can't watch it too closely, so I sit with the lap top in my lap and surf the web. Kind of like watching House whenever they have a close up of a needle going into an eyeball or brain surgery or exploding eyeballs.

I haven't been watching close enough to notice a shape pattern showing up elsewhere, but I did notice Silent Bob's necklace.
Oh yeah, that last scene was pretty gory. At first I thought it was an autopsy, but no, something much more nefarious. Eek.
the symbol on claire's book and the silent guy's necklace is the same one that is on the front of prof. suresh's book, which is from a pattern created in the data on the harddrive his son found.

I love Hiro! (and according to TV guide he's named that for a reason). How I wish I could travel through time and go anywhere I wanted. I've missed all the little things you guys are talking about, i must look closer this week.

Leaping into the discussion-- the symbol is freakin' everywhere-- the pool noodles at the murder scene house made it up, in a painting-- everywhere!

What the heck is going on with Nikki's life? I was a bit confused about that... her husband is on the lamb, and she thinks he killed/buried his gang in the desert? (ha, she probably buried those guys there, is what I was thinking). I was wondering if she was Sylar and didn't know it, but then they started saying "he" in reference to Sylar, and they showed him (supposedly) and he was clearly a guy.

I love the FBI woman with "Weiss" as we call him-- she was on Buffy once years ago

Oh, and regarding the timing-- Hiro could change the course of events and buy them all time, AND remember that Lost going into its third season has only passed about what, two, three months of time in the story? They could do a whole season on 5 weeks I bet. This show is wicked awesome, I love it

We are all hooked at our house! Does anyone else think the silent guy is the mob ladys husband?
Can't wait to look for the pattern tomorrow night!
