Clear plastic for sewing a window?

Does anyone have any ideas for where I can get some clear plastic that I can use to sew a window in an insulin pump pack? My ds uses a pump pack that is a stretchy velcro belt with a zippered boxy pocket attached. The front is clear, soft plastic. I keep spending $30 on these pump packs that last a few months and take forever to dry. It would be easy to make one (in fun fabrics, too) but I need something to use for the front so that we see our son's pump without taking it out of the pack. Any ideas?

I found some at Joann, the fabric store, over in the home dec section. It was nice thick, clear plastic.

Yup - I made DH a 'glove' for his transmiter for his remote control airplane to keep his hands warm in the winter and used a thick clear plastice that I got at JoAnn's. I would recomend using a heavy duty needle with it. Good luck!

If you don't have a Joann's near you, perhaps try a clear plastic shower curtain.

I bought some at Hancock's of you have one of those. Walmart also has it in the fabric section. They have several different thicknesses. I also used a heavy duty needle. Worked Great!
