Easter Party Craft Ideas

I'm organizing an Easter-Themed Birthday Party for my dd, who will be turning 3 in 2 weeks. So far I've come up with some pretty good, doable activities (I hope).

I'm going to make Egg Hunters' Masks (bunny) with paper plates (if I can find some - cross your fingers).

When I was in Uzbekistan I saw that ALL the little kids make homemade kites to play with. So I thought of kite-decorating as lovely early spring activity.

I'm going to use natural dyes to dye my eggs, and do an egg hunt with a goodie bag for everyone, regardless of number of eggs found.

I thought a rubber duckie fishing game would be fun: number duckies on bottom and put in a tub of water for kids to fish out (hopefully I can find an aquarium net or something to fish them out with).

And I may do egg bowling: put one brown egg (we don't have whites) in the middle of an area and have the kids try to roll their eggs as close as possible to it.

My question: Does anyone have any other great ideas? Any easy crafts to make as an activity or prize or decoration?

I can't get any fancy pre-fabricated Easter type stuff, so the ideas have to use simple things like cloth, ribbon, buttons, paper, veggies, etc.

Decorate cupcakes to look like bunnies? (Let the kids do it, then eat them?) Wait - don't eat the kids - let the kids eat their own cupcakes!!!!

REALLY CUTE ONE:

I gave these to all my neices last year for Easter. We call them Boo Boo Bunnies b/c you can put an ice cube in them for when an injury needs to be iced down. The washcloth absorbs all the excess drips.
You don't really even have to have the pom pom nose or the wiggly eyes, if you can't find them there. You could draw little dots with a permanent marker for the eyes and nose, I'd imagine.

I had some blown out eggs that the kids decorated with markers, we put some bird seed in one end and used salt dough to close the hole and-voila! shakers!

am I too late? We made egg tulips this week. We coloured some blown out eggs, painted some skewers green, then cut foam for leaves. You could use anything handy for the leaves (colour paper, perhaps?)

Here is my ds showing off his creations: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...203&uid=979850
