Ok, I admit it. I've been watching Days of our Lives on and off for many years.

Normally, I don't have much of a problem when they change the actor who is playing a character. Heck, I even though the new Belle does a much better job than the old one.

Today, however, I saw that Shawn Brady has just been changed. Although the voice is similar, they actors don't look alike. I find it very difficult to 'believe' the new Shawn. I wonder if the actor left on his own or if he got fired.

It's just really odd to watch. The DOOL website doesn't say anything about a new actor playing Shawn. sigh.

No, it's really not important...but sometimes I like fluff. I like to veg out and catch up on what's going on at Days.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who watches it. :

you're not the only one. I haven't watched in a while though so I wasn't sure how long the new shawn had been there. I don't like him, I was like what the heck? I actually just came on the computer to look up a days site to see what's going on. I have no idea why the other shawn left, I'll let ya know what I find out.

I watched it yesterday and the old Shawn was on. So, I think today was the first day.

Jason Cook was moving on to do other projects.

A big problem with this new Shawn is those weird triangle sideburns. they look very fake. He definitly has some similarities to old shawn, but his jaw is too skinny.lol I don't think it'll take long to get used to him because his voice sounds quite similar. But he looked uneasy being around Belle, hopefully it was just new person jitters and not that they don't have any chemistry together.

Good gawd, I know Days has had some bad actors, but this new Shawn takes the freakin CAKE! He is so bad it's almost amusing.

Who's watching right now?

I know it's a soap opera, but seriously, why can't just ONCE someone have a normal, healthy pregnancy? This Belle-in-the-hospital-with-cramps every 30 seconds has me rolling my eyes so hard I'm afraid they're going to fall out of my head.

Mimi's little speech to Shawn just now was pretty good, I must say.

Who's the blonde chick that Shawn kisses in the previews for tomorrow? Is it a new Belle or someone else??

I wish they would just put Belle and Shawn back together and get on with a different plot with different people. Their situation bores me. LOL.

I want to find out who the gloved mystery man is. The one's been causing all this trouble.

Who thinks it's Alex? Who thinks it's Stefano? Or do you think it's someone else entirely?

I agree, I'm tired of the Belle/Shawn/Mimi/Phillip storyline. I'm also tired of Marlena "in trouble"...AGAIN. I really hope the new writer can do something to change these things up. The "sources" say that EJ is definitely the gloved one. Doesn't always add up in past episodes, but they didn't decide it was him until just recently.

someone already linked it - Dustin's page...soapoperafan.com. According to him, soap opera digest had a big thing on DoOL and they revealed that EJ was a Dimera, and the gloved one. Their continuity is terrible, though, because there were times when The Glove was doing something, say, in the hospital, and EJ was with Sami...but consistancy isn't exactly a strong suit in Salem.

I thought the old Shawn was a terrible actor but sheesh...this one isn't any better! It's painful to watch...yet I still do.

The Gloved Hand can't be EJ. The Gloved had was off in some other city when EJ was with Sami when she got one of the phone calls right before Will had gone "missing".
