I am happy they changed shawn now instead of after Mimi and him split up. Mimi and this new shawn have no chemestry at all but they do have more than him and Belle and that does not say to much : I will miss Mimi when she is gone she is my favorite

What's a little teleportation when you can age someone 15 years over the course of 24 hours?!?

But yeah, like someone else said, he's a Dimera....they have henchmen. Remember Ralph and that other guy? They actually added some comic relief to the show. I would love to see them come back.

Belle and the baby can't both survive, so Belle tells Phillip to choose the baby over her if it comes to it, and Phillip says okay...but then later chooses Belle. My guess is that this will be the thing that leads to the Belle/Phillip split. Oh, and i also heard that Mimi's baby doesn't survive, either. Babies babies everywhere on Days....we still have Hope, and I've heard rumors that Carrie and Sami are both preggers, too.

You misunderstood. EJ CAN'T be the gloved hand because he was WITH Sami when the gloved hand(who was in a different city at the time) called someone @ Marlena and then that person called Sami @ Will when EJ was with her. The timing is impossible for EJ to be the gloved hand.

I vaguely remember it. I really mostly remember that the actress was "Ashley" from Y&R. Could someone refresh my memory?

That makes sense! And it would make him a Dimera...

I think it was Kristen Blake Dimera who had a mc with JOhn. So she found Susan a look alike who was pregnant to be her. Susan fell for John I think and she had a baby boy. She named the baby Elvis Junior. Not sure how they got written off the show but I think it was an open storyline.

OMG!!! i am so happy to have found this thread it is embarrassing!!!! i work about a mile from my home and i go home at lunch to watch Days! (ok maybe i shouldn't have admitted that)

I would say that there is more than one gloved hand. Henchmen. Dimeras have henchmen!

edit: from TVGuide;
Per TV Guide's Sept. 4 issue, Days will reveal in mid-fall that EJ is the Gloved One, and that he's in criminal cahoots with Patrick Lockhart (Brody Hutzler). This answers the "Is Patrick still an evil mercenary or isn't he?" question once and for all, paving the way for Hutzler's exit from Days. (He's among the many cast casualties of the show's budget cuts.)

Oh, and TV Guide also confirms that EJ is a member of the devious DiMera family.
Also, info about Susan and Elvis Junior:
Longtime Days viewers will recall that Stefano drugged Susan, dressed himself up as her idol, Elvis Presley, and impregnated her because he wanted an heir. After the truth came out about "The King," Susan married an Englishman named Edmund Crumb and the newlyweds took Elvis across the pond to start a new life in 1998. That would explain EJ's British accent. As for the age issue, hey, that's why soaps have SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome).

I do watch Days occasionally mostly to catch up on whats going on and then don' t watch again for a few weeks. By the time I come back though it is the same day and nothing has changed, so I guess I don't miss much.

Yeah, on the Marlena story line. HThe way everyone is in love with her and she is always the victim. They all have to protect her. Its annoying!!!!\

I totally forgot about the Susan thing and Elvis junior.

Soap Operas are bad but Days isnt as bad as Passions. That show is the most unrealistic and has the stupidest story line!

I don't like the new shawn either but I think the last one wasn't that bad and he was pretty cute too!

Ya know when they end Days for good, it's gonna be Marlena who kills everyone violently (like before, except for 'real')
