Kristen and her brother Peter (briefly married to Jennifer) were adopted by Stefano Dimerra. Their first last name was Blake and it got hyphened to Blake Dimerra.

So who is all leaving the show?

I've heard Mimi, Philip, Patrick...anyone else? And are they writing those characters completely out of the show or are they re-casting them?

They're gone for good. Bonnie is gone too along with Carrie & Austin. Jack and Jennifer are already gone.

I wonder why they are doing such a major overhaul. Wonder what changes are coming. Perhaps they got better writers and will do better story lines. LOL. Yeah, right.

i hate him!
( the new shawn)
i catch the show about once a week.
but i watched it everyday back wit the whole kristen/john debacle.
you figure that happened about 11 years ago in real time.
so yeah technically EJ could be that kid.. like a pp said, with the rapid aging syndrome.

The hired a new writer because their ratings were going down the drain, and that cost them a pretty penny...so there were massive budget cuts to pay for this new writer, and that meant dumping a lot of cast.

I've heard Carrie, Austin, Mimi (not til January, and she asked to be let out of her contract), Phillip, Patrick. If you ask me, they'd be better off getting rid of some of the higher paid, stale characters (IE, FREAKING MARLENA). I mean, honestly, the only thing Marlena ever does on that show is do her stupid gasp whenever John or Roman do something that "touches her heart", or get kidnapped or amnesia. After 20+ years of this crap, we're OVER IT already.

I agree I would get rid of some of the older characters that really don't add anything to the show. I am hoping though that in a year we really see some good plot lines since they can focus on smaller numbers of characters. I think Patrick is leaving also. Something about showing how Patrick and EJ are connected and settling once and for all if Patrick is good or bad and then he's gone. I really liked having Carrie back and Frankie so I wish they would have kept them a little longer and given them their own storylines and not completing somone elses.

phillip is goingto go for a few months or weeks and come back but will be a recast but everyone else is just going ITA that Marlana should go and so should John but they will never give them up Frankie is staying his contract is not up for a few years. On my DOOL board they had the whole line up of the cast and their contracts so that is where I read all that

ooooooo i hate jack and jennifer...they always annoyed me! i'm glad their gone! but it is jack...he'll probably come back.
i love mimi, sad to see that she's going to go! i love frankie, i hope he has some sordid tale coming up.

by the way... Ally was in the parade my city had today in a "celebrity guest" car.

Maybe I'll get to watch it on Monday. Depends on when dd naps. If she's napping ds gets to watch something. IF she's awake, I get to watch it while they go play!

I've been wondering if that's the effects of an eye-job gone bad. I don't remember them being quite like that years ago.

The new Shawn looks like a monkey. He does not seem like Shawn at ALL. And I can't stand his behaviour. What a jerk.

I had a dream about EJ last night. Yummy.

Did anyone watch on Friday? Although Sami is manipulative, I still felt sorry for her when Lucas and Will left. I mean, she's pretty much losing her child...Can't help but feel sad about that. (even though Will is a massive geek. lol)
