Well ladies I have had 2 yeast infections in my life. Both were extreamly itchy/burning with curd like discharge, lots of discharge.

When I checked my cervix today my mucus had white bits in it. I'm losing bits of plug every day (thick, gelatenous mucus) so its a real potpouri of consistancies....way TMI I know but I have no idea why the bits of white. It smell different, not bad, just different. I have no itching at all, no burning. Is it possible to have a yeast infection even without those symptoms?? I would really like to avoid thrush with our freshie.

I was thinking about inserting a clove of garlic tonight.....but then if its not yeast and I go into labor I will have a very garlicy birth canal, not to mention I've heard that you can taste the garlic...not exactly a laboring flavor Yogurt is the next option but it takes longer to have an effect. I'm taking a probiotic (acidopholis/bifidus) aswell.

Any thoughts/wisdom???
