How many times a day should I be drinking this tea? The package says 3-5x day. - Yuck! It is not the best tasting tea IMO. Rather be or !!!!

Anyways. . .has anyone experienced increased supply with only 1 cup a day?

If you really have supply problems you may want to rethink that. The herbs they use are all good, but not in high enough concentration. You are far better off making it yourself from fresher herbs and making an infusion that you can sip throughout the day. I had to take a whole box a day to get the results from one quart of my homemade stuff. And then it actually tasted good!

Well, that's great. I just bought some MM tea yesterday. I am having some major supply when pumping issues. Oh well..I guess I will just drink it anyway. What is your recipe for the tea firefaery? If you don't mind. Thanks

Medicinally it's 2 parts blessed thistle, 2 parts RRL, 2 parts goat's rue, 2 parts nettles, 1 part fenugreek, 1 part oatstraw, 1 part alfalfa and 1 part lemon balm. Then to fancy it up I'll do some dried fruit bits, hibiscus, cinnamon, anise...whatever strikes my fancy.

Is that an online store?

The recipe sounds complicated!!!!

Yes it's online. It's not complicated at all. You just open the bags and take two handfulls of the "2 parts" herbs and 1 handful of the "1 part" herbs and mix in a big ziploc bag. Then brew as you wish!

I had great results with More Milk Plus by Motherlove. I think you can get it at www.motherlove.com and also I found it at WF too.

More milk plus is fantastic, it's a much pricier solution. It works wonders though!

I purchased mine for about $20.00 a bottle, I guess I did n't even think about the price of it, as the tea is not an option for me, the taste makes me sick, literally!
I am a low supply mama, and I go through about one and a half bottles a week of the MMP. I can't afford that! Plus the Goat's Rue in my tea gives me much better results. The tea gives me great results, at about a tenth of the price. I make my own tea because it's more effective in my case and I can adjust the taste to my liking.

I absolutely agree though-if you can afford it MMP is a great product. Motherlove also seels goat's rue so you can alternate the tinctures (or pills.)

When you buy the herbs to make your own tea, about how much does it cost? The mother's milk tea bags I got were $4.50 for 16. I'm trying to see how much I could save making my own. Thanks!
It's far cheaper to buy your own in bulk. I would say the amount you get in that box is about .25 worth of tea. Off hand I'd guess one pound of nursing tea is about $8? A pound is ALOT of tea.
