To the Mom who pointed me here

It just occured to me : (slow I know) that the mom who sent me here back in Nov of 2004, might actually post here as well. And I have wanted to thank her since then but have had no way to do so. Since shortly after she told me about it on the message board at FertilityFriend they made the boards off limits to anyone but paying members. :

So if you are that mom I want to thank you with all my heart. I want you to know that by doing so you helped me protect ds from premature retraction and you have made it possible for me to get out there and help other little guys from being circed. :

Wow, freaky...there's a good chance it was me .

I was very active, and VERY outspoken against circ on the FF boards...up until they made it for VIP members only : . Of course, right before my son was due. Even more annoying. Got in too many debates, etc. back then. I did refer a lot of people here...if it was me, great, if it wasn't-- I'm still VERY that you found everyone here!

Makes me feel great either way .

I do recognize the name...so it's a possibility for sure. LOL. Either way I am glad to hear that the little one is intact. I am happy to say too, that two other moms I met on FF have told me that if they have sons ever (I was also on a going for blue group LOL so they had girls at the time) they wouldn't be circ'ing either. I also managed to tell one girl, whose fiance was diagnosed with phimosis that there were alternatives to circ (his doc had been pressuring him : ). She was VERY happy about the information as he did not want it.

It's amazing sometimes how much of an impact we do really have...because you know that when you write the truth there are even lurkers around who are likely reading it. If it only starts people to question it...then that is a first step of sorts.

I have to say, reading what you wrote really had good timing (my angels were looking out for me) that exact day, only an hour before I found your post I was cleaning out my closet and found an old infant massage book (from the late 70s). Well, I looked through it and saw my first circ'd baby in a really long time--it just looked so horrid and shocking to me, I felt so sad for the baby. It looked like a tiny stump of a penis, and it makes sense to me now why the moms I know of circ'd boys are always getting squirted. Anyhow, there was an intact boy there as well. But still I was so sad after seeing that.
