I've been working on an outline for a class on circumcision that anyone could advertise/teach...just on the circumcision topic. I know that in a comprehensive series, circumcision is mentioned/discussed briefly but since it isn't an issue that will apply to all parents (since only about 50% will have boys) they don't generally spend too much time on it.
Anyone can be an independent childbirth educator. You don't have to be registered, licensed, or certified. We could network within our own communities and get the word out to crisis pregnancy centers/pregnancy resource centers, WIC, midwives, doulas, and even childbirth educators that we are offering this supplementary class.
I think this class would have to be offered either free or really, really cheap (as in, just to cover the expenses of copying articles/pamphlets to send them home with and other visual aids.)
Would others be interested in doing this?
