Has anyone used either, and how did you like it?

I am mostly a ring sling person, but I have a hotsling fleece pouch and I like it a lot. I have never used a peanut shell.

I have a microfleece peanutshell. I used it alot when my DD was born last July and it was my favorite pouch out of my pouch stash which includes a WAHM fleece and the slingset pouch set, particularly for a newborn. I felt it had a perfect fit for me and DD and the fabric was stretchy enough for comfort without being too loose. The microfleece was very cozy without being too hot. I've never tried a hotsling but I've been very tempted many times to try one.

I haven't tried the Peanutshell...but I have 3 Hotslings & I LOVE them!
They are super awesome! I have a fleece one...it's my favorite. It's really soft. www.attachedtobaby.com carries both including returns/clearance ones.

Oh Why Did I Go There?

I worked at the work sponsored diaper swap today. We opened it up to other gently used baby stuff too. I got a small FuzziBunz from a friend, and then I saw it.... a kangaroo Korner adjustable pouch. It is khaki and denim blue paisley. Very "boyish". That makes 4 pouches in my stash. Two for each baby, right?!: DH was only slightly amused. Hey, at least I didn't pay full retail for it.

I have a Hotsling, Maya wrap, and Kozy..I found the Hotsling to be the easiest and most comfy for my newborn - around 4 months. I have one of the strech cotton ones...HTH!

I just ordered a Hotsling today and am glad to see so many mamas like it!

I haven't used one before so I can't say whether it is better than the Peanut Shell, sorry!
