IUI accomplished!

It was totally easy--the midwives were just awesome. I think the most complicated part was getting the bedsheet to stay up on the window (our blinds are jacked and I don't want to get them fixed until the kittens are grown).

Looks like AF found me as well. :

This was only the second cycle trying, but after conceiving on the first try on two seperate occasions (one ending in a miscarriage) I wasn't expecting it to take so long. I just keep reminding myself that 2 tries is not that long

I think I will start charting this month - anyone know of a digital thermometer which doesn't beep? The noise will wake my family up in the morning - definitely not something I want to happen.

Also, the past two cycles I've been spotting for the four days before my period begins - not something that has happened in the past - any ideas?

Anyway, move me to Waiting to O.

Congrats to the BFPs! and hugs to everyone else!

Still biding my time around here at cd9. DH leaves to travel for business a week from tomorrow, so I'm really, really, hoping that I o on time, otherwise, I'll be out of luck.

Progesterone will most likely prevent ovulation. That's actually it's role in your cycle--to prevent the release of additional eggs after ovulation--so it's prescence tells your body not to ovulate.

The other side effects you will most likely notice: tenderness in your breasts, nausea, increased urination, and an increased cycle length.
