Anyone watch and what did you think? I thought it was very interesting, but it took me soooo faaaaar out of my comfort zone. Dh says it's his new favorite show though.

I dont know......I love MICHAEL C HALL.....huge 6feet under fan......so dh and I watched Dexter and it was so unnerving, scary......morbid, freaky. I dont know if Ill watch again......but maybe I will just out of curiousity! Great writing and acting though.

Ahhh! I don't want to see it! The commercials creep me out. Dh probably would watch it, but luckily it's on the same time as Heroes. Which we agree is our fav new show of the season.

I love this show, the direction, the acting (I love Michael C Hall), the whole idea of it is just so interesting to me. A little graphic for my tastes, so I don't have a problem looking away if I don't want to see what's about to happen. I'm a little behind, but I'm going to try to watch the third episode while (if) my son sleeps tonight.

Anyone still watching.

It is my new favorite show, dh and I LOVE it. 6 Feet Under was the best show EVER so I was skeptical about accepting David as a serial killer but, um, he's kind of hot in Dexter so it all works out, lol.

We've watched every show so far, and I really was just "eh." about it until last night. There has been a curiosity and fascination with this show for me that kept me watching, even if I wasn't totally thrilled with it. But last night's episode was really really good. Our favorite cable series used to be Carnivale, and this is kind of like that in that the longer you watch the better it gets.

And for what it's worth, Dh thinks Michael C. Hall (as Dexter only) "is very attractive, but i'm not attracted to him "

I wasn't so sure about this show when I saw the first two episodes. It was kind of "meh" for me. But now that I have seen #4, I'm hooked! Michael C. Hall certainly is tasty

I think she is at least suspicious of his behavior. He is usually so calm and collected, but his body language was so different during the last episode I watched (I think it's the most recent, I watch them OnDemand). I think she knows. I can't wait to see where they take this, I love this show!!

Im totally sucked in now. That was a great episode!

I dont think his sister knows. Shes not the sharpest tool in the shed. BUT, she's getting close.....and he seemed to be getting off on almost getting caught.

Michael C Hall is amazing.........

Dh is a total conspiracist. He was thinking that the sister is the icebox killer, but he now thinks that it's the captian...What's her name? Laguarda? I don't think it's either one, but I do agree that Deb's spidey senses are tingling about Dex.

I so desperately want him to get rid of his gf's ex. I was SO proud of her for gathering herself and telling him there was no way he would be coming to the party, but I do expect some sort of retaliation on his part.

Anyone else think that Dexter is starting to find human emotion? His fondness for the kids, the bad dream, his desire to protect his gf...I kinda feel like he's slowly blossoming and discovering how it feels to be normal, but I don't think he quite realizes that's what's going on with him.

For what it's worth, I'm totally disgusted by the way he was raised! At first I thought, Wow, this guy really loves Dex and is trying to protect him by not forcing him to deny his impulses, but over the last 3 episodes I've just started feeling sick about it. I think the dad wanted to believe his intentions were good- to raise Dexter to pick up where the police and the justice system failed. But I think that Dad was just a little psycho and was grooming a killer so that he could live vicariously through him.

I can't wait till the next episode.

I am starting to not like the sister....there is just something about her. Also, when she cusses, it just seems so fake, LOL!
My Dh thinks the prosthetic guy is the ice truck killer. I have no idea.
Do you think the ex husb is the next victim?

I don't like the sister either. It's either the character or the casting but she grates on me. Plus, she's over sensitive which is annoying, lol.

Dexter is definitely starting to have feelings, I think he even says so once. I'm reading the book right now and it's pretty much identical to the show and in the book he says something about experiencing feelings. I'm not caught up yet to the show because I don't want to blow the surprise, lol.

Anyone else feel like the Ice Truck Killer might be a doctor???
