Personally, DH and I think the sister knew even when they were little. I mean look at their Dad. And I think a real shocker would be if SHE is the other serial killer. But it looks like the prosethetic dude is. I don't know....it seems TOO obvious IYKWIM.

I have so many questions too, and I can't wait to find out the answers! How did the ice truck killer know his dad, etc... I am so into this show! My son actually slept through the whole thing last night, usually I have to watch it in several stages

Just a thought I had this very second...

The Ice Truck killer is Dex's bio brother. He killed his bio dad, maybe because of the muder of his mom, maybe because he's just a psycho? I don't know. But maybe he spent his whole childhood playing second fidddle to a brother who was adopeted out, and is jealous because he felt his dad loved Dex more than him.

That would have enabled him to know who Dex was, follow his life, and involve himself with his sister.

Not terrible well thought out or put together on my part, but there's my theory. Whatddya think?

I thought it was the prosthetic dude the second he came on screen and was quite disappointed that it turned out to be him. It seems to easy and I didn't want them to reveal it right away.

Why is the sister so naive? Is she this empty in the book? She kind of annoys me.

I'm a fan of Michael C Hall from Six Feet Under so that's why I tuned in. I really like his character. I think he's very intelligent and absorbing. Although, I am a little annoyed with the girlfriend too. The women aren't portrayed very well in this show, including the detective. But, I love the Black detective who doesn't trust Dexter. He cracks me up .

Dh was making fun of me last night because I was so disappointed to have to wait a full week for the next show. He keeps thinking that just because I was "Eh." about the first couple of episodes, that I just sit through it every week for him! LOL if he only knew I started an entire thread on the show he'd be floored!

Last night's was a good one. I just feel so sorry for Deb. All the men in her life are killers. And did anyone else get the feeling that Dokes has the hots for her? Interesting. When Dex went to Rita's Ex's house it was all I could do to keep myself from cheering him on. I knew he wouldn't kill him, though. I think he did the best possible thing by setting him up that way. Dh thinks Angel is being set up to look pathetic so that when he's killed it won't matter so much, but I see the opposite. Sure, he's wounded, but he also got strong moral fiber and an innate need to "do right", which means, IMHO, that he's being set up to be a hero in the case. At least the previews for next week seem that way.

Anyone know when the new season will start after the final two episodes?

Last night was really good. My dh thinks "ice truck" killer is Dex's brother too. But why would he go after Angel? I do not think he is anywhere close to figuring it out. If anyone does, it will be Dex when he goes after his sister (Ok preview there!)

Not sure when Dexter will start up again but that is ok...we are totally getting into Sleeper Cell.

He went after Angel because he felt Angel was getting too close for comfort, I think.

Okay, Last nights episode was just...well, over too darn soon! I can't decide if Deb is going to die or not.

I thought that Dex's mom was murdered by her husband, not by a drug lord. It's interesting and heartbreaking to think of 4 year old Dexter having to watch not only his mother's but 3 other mutilations, and then was left alone in the mess for days on end. That really hit a nerve with me. I worry sometimes about what ds would do if I had a heart attack or something and died suddenly while dh was out of town. Poor Dex. No wonder he's emotionally cut off from the rest of the world. Or at least has been till recently.

I can't wait till next week, but I also know I'll be disappointed because it's the season finale and their going to leave us hanging.

We just added season 1 of Six Feet Under to netflix.
