Itchy Breasts!!!

My breasts & nipples are itching like crazy-constantly!!! It's like torture to have to put on a bra and go out in public. I have tried moisturizer & olive oil, but they stil ITCH!!! Is it hormones, or to do with getting fuller? Really, after bf'ing 3 kiddos so far, there is plenty of loose skin (TMI?) so it shouldn't be stretching that's causing it. ACK!

Watch your water intake. Drink up! That should help.

Could it be PUPPPS? I had that with dd and it itched like crazy! I had little red bumps on my belly (none on breasts I don't think)...only delivery cleared it up!

OMGosh I had PUPPPS with my 6th child!! I better not get it with this one (due in December). :

It's pure heck, but anti-itch cream really works. I think I went through a tube (generic brand) every night, when it was at it worse!!

I don't have any rashiness or redness or bumps. Just itching. I drink lots of water, but maybe not enough. I'll try that.

When I told my midwife I had an itchy belly she told me it could be a sign of a overstressed liver. She told me to cut out all animal protein to see if that helped. I did that and haven't had the problem since. I have slowly reintroduced some animal protein and seem to have found a "safe" amount.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to give it a try.

I guess it's not that because I'm a vegetarian. I eat eggs on very rare occasions, but I haven't had any in weeks.

mine have been itchy again, too. i've been using aveeno lotion on them that has menthol in it and take an collidial oatmeal bath when they (or my belly) are itchy and that seems to calm things down. I've notice that my bra isn't fitting so well in the last few days so I have a feeling this itchy boob thing has to do with yet more growth of my already large breasts.

I've had itching on my belly, breasts, and arms. My OB said that it can be related to an increase in progesterone and to try anti-itch cream. Olive oil has actually helped some. I have also had pain in my nipples-they just feel really sensitive at times.

I'm itching like crazy. It's mostly between and underneath my breasts. I hope they don't get that much bigger because I know that's contributing to all this itchiness - not enough air circulation. Oh to be a B cup...
