I know people say that Red Reaspberry Leaf tea does not cause uterine contractions, but it worked for me! I drank cup after cup after cup of it and started contracting painfully that very night. (Zachary wasn't born for three more days, but I was definitely making progress!) And yes, Zachary was not due for 3 1/2 more weeks when I tried this

:, but as soon as I hit 36 weeks I knew he'd be ok and I was DONE with the preterm labor! (I was contracting and contracting for 7 weeks, with no dilation...

The RRL tea was just enough, in my opinion, to get me "over the hump" and get my uterus *really* contracting so it could push him down and out.

It worked for my sister as well. I made her one large pot of it in the evening and her son was born at 8 in the morning!

Also, I have heard that you can use Evening Primrose capsules as vaginal suppositories to ripen the cervix. Not sure if blue and black cohosh are safe as I have heard conflicting information, but I know some people who have tried it to get labor going also. Not sure if you really WANT to get labor going because I know that's not the part you're looking forward to, Sarita

, but unfortunately it is inevitable in order to hold your little one in your arms...
GOOD LUCK!!!
