Hello Everyone!
This will probably come as an odd question. My 7 y/o son attends a new Montessori charter school. I help out with the playground committee, but as of right now we just have dirt or the beginnings of weeds/grass. We are anticipating that we will have lots of mud once the rain starts, which will be soon. We would like the kids to wear rainboots and then take them off when they go in their classrooms.
How do Montessori (or Waldorf for that matter) store the rainboots?
Two of the classrooms are in a converted house and the other 3 are in portables. We have thought of having poles to put the boots on after the kids wear them. That way the water would drip off them. But we don't have a lot of room inside the portables. And it would make the entry way very dirty. If we put the boots outside then how would the kids get their slippers on?
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks in advance for your help.
