This could very well be a false start or maybe I'm in denial as my MW suggests. I've been having contractions since 6am steady at 20 mins, I just returned home from the hospital from my antenatal appointment, the MW said that I'm in early labour. Funnily enough I had driven myself there and home again LOL, luckily one ctx took place at a red light and the next one I had to pull over on the highway which means that I'm now 10 mins apart and starting to have to concentrate on the pain a bit more...
Will update!

Well, it was the wierdest labour ever!! I had so much control over it.
The contractions stayed at 15 mins although were becoming very very painful while I waited for DH to finish work, once he was home I went down to 10mins. By 7pm they were so strong that I cried through 2 of them before calling the hospital. Because they know that I birth quickly they told me to go in. When I arrived I went down to 7mins apart, an internal showed that I was 2-3cm. Within the next HOUR I was 9cm so the doctor ruptured my membranes (bubs heartrate went up to 180 so he wanted to check for merconium - they wasn't any)
It was really difficult to push him out because he was posterior and it felt like my backbones were breaking with each push, and it felt like that part took forever but I was only pushing for 20mins!
The wierd thing about it was that inbetween contractions and pushes I was still laughing and joking and even having conversations with the midwives!!! I think that practicing hypnosis through the pregnancy really helped!
