relactation and relatching

Just to start out, some people are going to understand this, and others are not. Thats ok.
I nursed my daughter until she was 6 months old and one month after that had a breast reduction surgery. I have regreted weaning her eversince and have come to the conclusion that I would like to TRY and relactate. She is now almost 17mths. I would like her to latch again but If the only thing that I get out of it is producing some milk, I will be very happy. I am aware that there is a strong possibility that It wont work but I want to at least try. I have contacted Dr. Newman and he has send me a prescription for Dom.
I am wondering If anyone has any experiences relatching a toddler or any other experiences that are similar.
