Let's see: on the plus side, we've got smiles, coos and utter adorableness. She has also rolled over twice, which terrified her. On the minus side, we've got heat rash on her abdomen and a Motherlore class full of mainstream moms with strollers that cost more than my car. So it's a pretty good week, all told.
Ds is sleeping for about 6 hrs straight at night! He is smiling and cooing and rolls over from tummy to back. Dd has figured out how to say his name and is happy to point out ears, nose, tummy, belly button, 'piggies', head, hands.
I agree with what everyone said. Green for us is usually foremilk imbalance but the pain is usually gas related. good luck with the dairy, remember it takes 2 weeks for it to be totally out of your system.

Is there anything you can do to fix a foremilk imbalance? How does that happen?

Nurse 1 side a feeding to make sure they get the hindmilk. Only if Kienan is obviously still wanting more then I put him on the other side. If I remember correctly it eventually evens out.
Oh my goodness, that is one smiley baby! How adorable! And I love all the beds in that tiny room. Do they really all sleep in there? I mean, how do they not wake each other up???
Wow! At what age do babies start rolling over? Then again I suppose a baby would have to probably be left lying down for for more than a diaper change in order to learn anything like that!

Nate has taken 2 naps in the crib. And A.J. still chooses to sleep in the crib, so the toddler bed is unoccupied now that Ryan has a twin-sized bed. But at least we know they'll all fit in there eventually! And we have a bunk bed to put on top of the twin bed when Ryan is 6. And we can take the side off the crib to make it more toddler friendly. So I know we're good for another 4 years at least!!! :
colorado mama thanks for the advice. i'm really learning a lot from the experienced mamas here. i guess worrying doesn't serve me or anyone any good. oops dd is waking up.
