After several days of prodromal labor (cxs 5-10m apart, didn't interfere w/activities) Nora finally made her appearance at 3:21 pm Sept 27! 10 days late...
I woke up the morning of the 27th with cxs about 6 mins apart. We went to DD1's playgroup at 10, got home at 12:30, and by then I knew I was in labor. Cxs were about 5 mins apart, but required concentration. I called the midwife & DH & ate my lunch between cxs, then climbed into bed to try to get some rest before things got too intense. I think I was only in bed for 3-5 cxs, then things really started moving. Nora was born less than 3 hrs after we got home.
She was 7lbs 6oz, 20.5 inches, and her head was 13.75. She cried on the perineum. She is beautiful & we are all in love!
