Head down bum up!

Little max is head down and nicely wedged in my pelvis. Suprised the heck outta the midwife, me being only 31 weeks. But I told her I'm making darn sure he stays that way, that the moment I felt him go head down I did a nice deep squat and stood back up as quick as I could to lock him in and said "stay there!" hehehe She laughed and told me it was a good move. So Max is engaged and not going much of anywhere right now.

She said it bodes well if I keep up with the Optimal Feotal positioning stuff....rock on!

I think I'll start doing moves along those lines around, what? 30 weeks?
Would sooner be better? I want to make sure Babe is/stays head down.

well you can start any time really. Mine turned on his own and I'm just making sure he stays stuck. Like as soon as I felt his head go into my pelvis I bolted to the toilet (had to pee anyway) and sat there for a few minutes after doing my business to let him settle in nice and tight, then got up to snap him in tight so he wont budge hehehehe

now if i can just figure out what position baby is in, I think i'll be good to go.

Well if you're seeing a midwife she can get an accurate position by poking your belly (That's what DD said yesterday it was funny) "Babylady why are you poking mommy's belly???? You're gonna hurt her!"

i'm hoping we'll find out at our next appointment. It was a bit too early at our last appointment.

we heard the hearbeat with the steth at home the other night and DH found it pretty low, so I'm hoping that is an indication of where the chest is.

Gosh, my little one is having fun being transverse and flipping all over the place, too! I am trying not to worry about it... *yet!*

That's great!
I go in tomorrow to the mw, and I'm hoping it's right way 'round now. I really can't tell, myself....I'd love to get it 'locked in'
