A ? for those that don't vax or delay vaccinations

I am plan on doing selected vax and delaying some on my 2nd ds due in Nov. But I am worried. 1st of all lack of support from family and friends. And then me doubting my decision.
Like right now I am babysitting a 7 yr. old girl and she is playing w/ my ds Gameboy and she is sneezing all over it cry. I was never such a germ-ophobic, my ds has played w/ mud, ate cheerios from our carpet, etc, but now that I have made this decision on vaccines, I am freaking out.

What do you do?
Do you keep you child from been touched by other people?
Do you make everybody wash their hands? If yes, when do you stop them from doing so?
I used to work at a daycare years ago and my ds and I still visit (they are 2 blocks away from my apt.) Would you girls recommend not taking the baby there?

This sucks, I am not the type of person to be worrying so much, this is so new to me. Please give me any advice you can think of.

For now, I don't plan on doing the eye gook, or the Vitamin K shot, or Hep. B right after birth, only on a delayed schedule.

My kids are not vaxed and I don't do anything special. I take both kids ages 2 and 7 months to play groups and playgrounds. They are around other children all the time. I don't worry.

Honestly? I don't worry about it. Not at all.

Ok, then I guess I would treat him just like I did my first. Let him get antibodies from all the germs around him
I am just a little scared of something happening and then I can hear people saying: I told you so!!! :

Research the diseases you're afraid of.

Which one scare you?

You will probably get better and more detailed responses if you post this in the main vaccination forum.

Yes, to the first and the 2nd is totally understandable. It's harder when you have no support, but I think that we're all afraid for our tiny newborns, regardless of vax status. I 2nd that you just need to read up on what these illnesses are, how prevalent they are in the U.S. and in your area, how to recognize them and how they should be treated. I felt a lot more secure when I researched how I can treat illness at home. Another huge thing to read about is the purpose of a fever and what it does/how it is part of the immune function. Fever was probably the scariest. The more she got through (w/out fever reducers) and the fast rate of recovery I witnessed w/out actual illness developed my confidence in her body's own ability to fight off illness, regardless if there's a vax for it.
