Also, I think this season's premiere featured each of the captives waking (presumably for the first time) after the final darts knocked them out when they were all together. I think Juliette mentioned the drugs to Jack, the whole dehydration or whatever bit. I got the idea that they had been out for awhile, certainly longer than they were the first time they were shot with the darts (when they were captured with Hurley and Michael.) So there would have been time to transport them from the primitive village/long dock site over to Sawyer's island, while they were unconscious.
I wonder where Jack's place is, though. I realize it's supposed to be underwater. Is it at the beach area of the Alcatraz island, though? So when they emerge, they're on that island? They put the hood on him when they brought him through to operate on Colleen, (that and the noise ensured that he wouldn't see or hear the other captives), but do you think that they also would have transported him by submarine? He'd have felt that, for sure. And the operating room definitely is on that island, near the cages, so they had to get there somehow. Either they were already there or they traveled over/underwater. Maybe it's a big network and they can get to the tanks/underwater cells from both sides, or else they enter from the Alcatraz side.

I don't think we know who Alex's boyfriend is. And I don't think she knows what happened to him, either. Though obviously she fears he was killed. The fact that Carl is young, that he seems to be on the outs with the Others, and that Alex was skulking around the premises when he was locked up there, tend to suggest that he could be her boyfriend, though. In the absence of other candidates, especially!
