Ok this isn't exactly a problem I am just worried ds isn't nursing enough and need some reassurance.........And let me just prefece this by saying my first ds was a huge baby with a huge appetite and now i have this skinny little picky eater and its freaking me out. Ds has never been a big eater and has always been a fussy nurser, he has to be in a quiet room laying down to nurse, I had oversupply issues at the start and I think that contributed to it.....Anyway today he only nursed 4x at 6 when he woke up, at 9am, 2:30pm and 8:30 pm. He only really nurses now when he is going to sleep, I offer when he wakes up and at other times but he just doesen't seem interested. He eats some solids but i don't really spoon feed him much so he mostly eats what he can get in with finger foods which doesn't seem like that much....kWIM? He is 8 months old and about 20lbs.......And I worry he doesen't even eat enough when going to sleep as he falss asleep before he's full (i figure) He still nurses 2x a night or so......I dunno, does this sound normal? My first nursed so much more.......And his teethign seemes to be making him want less not more........Anyone, how much dows you 6-12 mo eat?

I know a lady who said the entire time she nursed her kids, they never ate for more than 30 seconds! They grew just fine and were healthy. Maybe you have enough milk that he gets what he needs in a short amount of time? Have you looked at how many grams a day/week he is gaining? This should give you a good idea.
