Strange cramps....

I have a question -
I've been having some periodic cramps on my far L side over the past few days. Does this mean that my pregnancy could be ectopic? What are the early signs of an ectopic pregnancy?

They're not really painful, but I definitely know they're happening. They also don't happen often....just once in a while and only last a few seconds.

For the record, I've been having periodic cramps all over my belly - on top of my belly button, on the R side, at my fundal point, down low and central, etc. It's just these on the far L side that are the most prominent and get my attention the most.

From what I understand most pain from an ectopic wont start until you are more like 7-8 weeks pregnant.....keep us updated please!

I think some cramping is normal. From what I've heard, cramping from an ectopic pregnancy is VERY painful. I've had some cramping in my ovary area on and off and I think it's pretty normal.

The fact that you say you have cramping all over is a good sign, that makes it sound like your whole uterus is stretching and growing.

Are you sure it's not gas pain?

I have some cramping, but also occasional sharp gas pains on the "sides" like that . . . .

Keep us updated. . . .
