Not sure if I mentioned this before, but:
I think that whatever school option you choose for your child, it is a supplement to their "real" life - their life at home with you. Of course, they may spend more waking hours at the school, but the real responsibility and life happens in the home. So, for my kindergartener, I don't worry at all that she's missing out on fantasy play. She gets plenty of that at home!
