None of my children has ever liked to just sit around. I didn't know there were such children!! But Nate will sometimes enjoy sitting on the couch with me if he is being entertained by his brothers, particularly Ryan; he loves to watch him playing. Or if we do songs and fingerplays I can keep him happy sitting for maybe 20 mintues.
He likes the stroller though! Sitting and moving at the same time is okay with him.

yes, I miss those times with my first DD. As soon as my older DD goes down for her nap, Eliana and I hit the couch to watch old seasons of 24 from Netflix.

I say enjoy your couch time because you definitely only get it with your first child!!
