Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino

Anyone have a suggestion for a subsitute for the afore mentioned yarn? I'm looking into making a sweet little dress for my on-the-way-baby. I've read some bad reviews. The pattern actually calls for DB wool/cotton yarn, but apparently that's out of stock.

Anyone have any experience with this yarn. I've read some neg. reviews of it pilling and fading and such.

I've made several Debbi Bliss Cashmerino patterns, all with Caron Simply Soft acrylic yarn. It's probably a weeeee bit heavier, but I had no problems getting the right guage, and I was very pleased with the result. In fact, I've never even used the cashmerino yarn called for in any of her baby patterns....:

You could use any fingering weight yarn you liked the look of and got gauge with. I normally sub with Jaegar 4ply merino (because my former LYS didn't do DB yarns) and that works nicely, though it splits a bit.
I'd go with a cotton blend, or wool/cotton blend rather than all wool for a dress though. Cotton/silk would be nice too.
