Well, I am a participant in the WIC program and when I was there doing a recert a few months back i got to talking about BF'ing and asking if many on the program do. Not many, not surprising. SHe said they just got funding to do peer moms with BF'ing WIC moms.
To make a long story short...I got a call today asking me if I would like to be a peer mom. I didn't realize it but it is a paid position. The best part is i would be able to stay at home and work.
SHe said I would be calling moms on the WIC program that are BFing and support them. They will give me a laptop and a cell phone. It is only 10-20 hours a week. I do have to go into the office one day a week though. This is such a great thing! 
I will be supporting moms that don't get the education about BFing b/c they are lower income, I will be making a difference (I hope

My boys will be turning 1 next month and I am not quite ready to take any time away from them. They are in the planning process of this program and it probably won't start til sometime in 2007.
