Ovulation-type twinges?

Are any of you experiencing ovulation-type twinges on one side or the other? I have been feeling a tiny sensation on my right side, very similar to what I feel on the occasions that I notice ovulation. I wouldn't pay attention to it if I weren't feeling hyper-sensitive, especially with an ectopic in my history. So, am I the only one feeling this? It's not really painful but it's there. The feeling only lasts for a second or so but has come at intervals throughout the past two days.

This little twinge was the source of my weekend emotional breakdown. I would love to hear that it is a normal sensation before I freak out and demand an extra u/s.

Thanks,
Iris

I had it a few weeks ago and then it went away. If it's not painful then try not to worry. There is a lot going on down there right now, sometimes you can feel it in different spots.

jillian,

i have those same sensations. i was always told that i was feeling my uterus growing, my ligaments growing/pulling. i have felt lots of sensation like that with each of my pregnancies, so i'm not worried.

Thank you. It is so nice to hear positive responses to my "is it normal" concerns.
I should just post here instead of spending the weekend fretting about something.

I've had the same thing. In fact, at about 3-4 DPO I felt it a lot. Now I'm just feeling little twinges occasionally.

I've had the same thing. When I can't sleep at night I'm sure it must be the beginnings of an ectopic pregnancy. No reason to think so except that after the m/c every little twinge makes me pay attention. During the day I'm certain it's no big deal (as I've been told). Must manage to sleep more soundly!

I get it too. Sometimes I get the twinges near an ovary, followed by a sharp twinge on my cervix. Makes me run to the bathroom to "check". Your worries are normal, and I think shared by most of us here! Thank goodness we are not alone.

Thank you all for replying. Hearing from you is so reassuring. Also, I haven't noticed these twinges much since Sunday night, so I am feeling much calmer.

I get them too, throughout pregnancy. I think they're my least favourite preg symptom! But for me, they can get quite painful. If you're about to sneeze or cough, pull your knees up to your chest if you can.

I get those too

I get these twinge cramp things as well and I try to just breathe through them and chug some water. Usually they last like 20 seconds tops.

I get them too! I get cramps all over my abdomen....but once in a while, I'll get a sharp one WAY off to the side (usually the L side). I know I'm not O'ing....early on it was freaking me out that it might be an ectopic pg. At this point, I think those pains would be debilitating if that's what it was.
