Well after 15 months of pumping my milk is finally giving up the ghost. I am relieved in some ways to not have the hassle of pumping anymore but I also feel grief about letting go of that connection to my little bean. It is a weird thing to finally say, that's it.
Just thought I'd post here as I am sure there are many who have been through the same thing. It just isn't practical anymore, especially as my milk has dropped to practically nothing. But I still feel sad and can't quite commit to letting go. Sigh.

I also pump while at work, but get to give my little one milk snacks throughout the night.
Hope the transition goes smoothly for everyone!

: 15 months of pumping!!! Its understandable to be sad at the loss, but think of the time you will free up by no longer pumping- Think of it as the next stage of your relationship, time to try new ways to bond. You could add a new special ritual time with baby (like reading or massage). I completely understand your pain.
