Strange bleeding

I'm not even sure this is the right place to post this but I'm hoping someone has some ideas as to what might be going on here. I had a baby in Nov 05 and was exclusively BF'ing and I got my cycles back in April. Nothing very regular until August when I could actually detect ovulation. Anyway we aren't trying to get pregnant but aren't preventing either. I didn't think much of it when I started my period just like I was supposed to on 9/23 but this period was very different. It was very heavy for 5 days and there were lots of clots. Then it went on for another 5 days which is the longest period I've ever had. I stopped last Monday but yesterday I began to spot again and today I'm full out bleeding again. It's just like another period. I was supposed to ovulate sometime in the next 3 days but this cycle is really odd. I never tested because my period was right on time but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not miscarrying? I put a call into my Dr but haven't heard back yet. Anyone had an experience like this before?

this sounds like a miscarraige... but i'm not an expert.. maybe try posting in the pregnancy and birth loss forum.. they have experience..

Thanks Kat. I saw a Dr today and I am pregnant but I might be losing it. Waiting for the beta numbers to come back.
