HELP!! My 3 yr ds wants his nails painted - Page 2

My DC's all want their nails done after they hang out with the grandmothers who all have acrylic nails. I usually have to borrow grammies stuff, but have no qualms with it. many boys at my kids preschool have painted nails. It's only a big deal if you make it one, IMO. DS is almost 6 & now just wants his toes done.

I don't think it's that big of a deal and agree that your dh just needs to let him be a kid for now, I mean he's only 3. When my ds was 3 yrs old he painted his toenails and fingernails himself when I wasn't looking, right before we were leaving for my mothers wedding to my step-father. I didn't have enough time to take it off and just had to let him wear it all day, thank goodness it was just a small affair and just family, They all loved it.

I bought blue nail polish for my DS. Seeing as he has three sisters and a mommy who paint their nails, I can't see the logic in telling him he can't have paint on his nails also.
