Two ?'s

1. Can you have it with no fever?

2. Can you have it with out a duct clogged?

I have been really achy and my right breast is SORE. Never had mastitis so I am unsure. Please help

Yes you can have it without a fever, I don't know about the clogged duct though. Is your breast red and hard in one spot? If you feel like you have the flu and your breast is sore especially hard in one spot, chances are you have mastitis and it sucks. Try warm compresses and nurse nurse nurse on that side. You can take motrin for the pain and/or fever if you get one. I am sure some mamas have more suggestions that this. I got it so bad I had to get antibiotics. Some women are able to get better before they have to take them but you need to be careful and not go too long. Good luck

Sounds like mastitis if achy- it gives you flu like symptoms. It it usually from a plugged duct, which you may not be able to feel or see since they aren't all on the surface. If it is, you may need antibiotics. I'd call my MD if I were you. You don't want to let it go and get worse. In the meantime use moist heat (a wet wash cloth with a heating pad) on that area where sore and nurse on that side alot to clear the plug.
