i wish people were quicker to congratulate you on the fourth kid- they just kind of go "oh, wow"...nobody just hugs you and is excited for you! i'll probably never get over that, it just feels so wierd when we are so excited!

Don't let me them get you down! It is exciting, regardless of the number!!!!

They have "Preggie Pop Drops" now. Just like the lollipops, but look like hard candy - ie: easier to sneak past the kiddos! They have them at Motherhood (my sis got them there).

The citrus sour altoids got me through my third pregnancy. The mango sours are good too

I'm using them and they work fairly well. I have a giant free sample box that is supposed to be for my doula clients : This nausea is kicking my butt lately. This morning it was the worst yet. Luckily I still haven't actually thrown up - just lots of false alarm trips to the bathroom. I almost didn't come in to work this morning because it was that bad.

I understand. During my last pregnancy, I made it a rule to go to work if and only if I was able to get through my shower without vomiting. I missed a lot of work! This time I've not had any serious false alarms or actual vomiting... yet. The IL's are coming this weekend and we're not ready to tell them yet, so hopefully the m/s won't hit full force until next week!

Well, hugs from me mataji4 I think #4 is just as important to celebrate as #1. I think it's confusing to some people why anyone would have more than one or two kids. It seems to them that #3 or above must have been a mistake and couldn't be a joyful surprise. Don't let it get you down. I'll toast to you with my preggo tea!
Today my m/s seems to have subsided. Don't know why. Maybe it will come back later today, I hope not. I slept a ton, drank quite a bit of Traditional Medicinals pregnancy tea, and awoke feeling ok, and made some oatmeal w/ cinnamon, raw honey and topped with a drizzle of fresh cream I picked up from a local organic farmer.
I was just reading that grapefruit can help with m/s. I think I'll head to the store for some today. I love it w/ celtic salt.
We're expecting rain/snow today and tomorrow here and I haven't gotten DS's snowsuit made yet. I'm hoping I have the energy to sew for a few hours today. This dead tiredness is for the birds. My poor kids are getting too much momma couch time, when normally we're outside playing in the treehouse or at the park. DD keeps asking me why I don't feel that good. She's a smart little thing and I'll probably tell her soon.
Good appetite and good energy wishes for all who are creeping around feeling like puking today!

mataji4- I feel sort of the same and I'm only on my second baby! Why are people like that? Ugh.

I got up with DS this morning and didn't eat, and then took a nap, when we woke up, I felt very sick to my stomach. I was trying to get ready for a LLL meeting and I was dry heaving. Already! I'm not even 5 weeks. Course it didn't help that he pooped and I had to plunk it in the toliet. LOL! Eating helped. I forced down some crackers and cheese.

I just took a look at our due date list. I can't believe there are already over 40 of us lucky ladies here! And the dates only run to the middle of June so far. What a popular month!

I can't help but laugh at the idea of me having a June baby. So many of my friends are June babies that it's become a running joke. At a gathering a while ago someone was starting a game and needed the group of 19 of us to be split into two teams. Someone jokingly said for all the June b-days to be on one team. They had 10, all the other months were only 9 people. Guess this baby just knows how to be popular.

I'm nearing the time of my last m/c (5w5d)....tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm pretty anxious. So far, so good though! I've had NO spotting whatsoever, and some cramps....but they've been fleeting and widespread. Today, they were along both sides of my belly. I KNOW what the m/c cramps feel like and these are nothing like those.

I have some times of feeling pretty good, mixed with feeling like I need to lie down. I haven't had any close calls with getting sick (YET!). My biggest feelings are that I'm SO tired and I'm starving all the time. I'll wake up in the middle of the night wanting to eat.

Most of my ickiness is related to either being hungry or standing up all day at work. Hopefully it'll get worse.... :

Oh, something I've had for a week or so that's very interesting is that my dreams are SO vivid - clear and full or color and memorable! And I have one every night! They're not scary or freaky....just strange.

As for smells, I'm noticing them a lot more, but they're not really nauseating....just obvious.

aw, you ladies are so sweet- hugs right back at ya! even my MIL, who had 5 kids, was silent and then later said she thought anything she'd say would be rude!!! and when you are feeling so freakin crummy, it would be nice to get some happiness from the world!

it's such a hormonal roller coaster...like one minute i'm fine and then it's like i'm hit by a rush of hormones and i want to immediately go to sleep, or i feel yucky and nauseous! morning and night are the hardest for me, i don't know why. i can't breakfast in the kitchen, it's too overwhelming, so i make my kids breakfast and then take some cereal and a banana back up to my bed!

i've been thinking a lot about names lately! it's one of the best parts about having a baby, lol! my husband won't talk about names til the 3rd trimester and i think that's so mean!! it's a lovely distraction when things feel yucky, and i wish he'd indulge me. i know i'm having a girl, and if i don't i will feel like an idiot! it was like this with my daughter, where i just wouldn't even look at boy names because it felt so wrong to...same this time.

mataji4 -- I'm also expecting #4. I haven't told anyone irl yet, so I haven't had to deal with comments, but from the comments I get now just with 3, I can imagine what it will be like.

PatchChild, sounds like you have a sweet dh. Mine loves the look of the big preggo belly, but I think he finds the kicks a little freaky. He can't imagine how they don't hurt -- especially the ones he could feel through my bottom while we were spooning.
