Anyone else wondering...

if they are going to be the last one left here and noone will be checking our club anymore ???

ALso... anyone else barely even having any braxton hicks??? I had like TWO yesterday. TWO. None for like two days before that. Pitiful. Prob cause he is posterior.

Or... maybe it's cause I woke up sick as a dog yesterday and he is waiting for me to get healthier. How much would that suck to be sick and deliver a baby and then have to have a babymoon while feeling like crap??? Ugh.

I'm partly with you! As a first time mom it's hard for me to imagine that there's ever really going to be a baby after all this! But I can't commiserate about the BH. I have contractions all the time, they just never turn into anything. Yet!

I've been feeling that way for weeks! Tomorrow appears to be the big day (if my labour doesn't pick up on its own today, anyway), but every day before this has left me wondering if 'this is it'. It's a very tiring, frustrating time, I know. Hang in there, mamas! Your babes will be here so very soon

I'm just getting sick of everyone telling me "Well, your last baby went to 43wks so you will prob go that long". Well the two babies before that only went to 40wks so I dont think one "later" baby tells anything. It's driving me batty LOL

I'm with you!

I was really expecting to go early with this one, so now that I'm "late" I really feel like I've waited forever! (My mom got here from Texas almost two weeks ago!!)

Has anyone considered helping nature along? There's nothing wrong with me (everyone is healthy, I'm relatively comfortable, etc.) but I'm still thinking I might call the acupuncturist soon...

I feel you - I'm supposedly due today & our family has a cold, my dh birthing partner has it the worst, it really has put a damper on things. (I'm thinking it would be better if we are well, so I sort of feel like I'm telling baby it's ok to wait a few days) Cx come and go, but never lead anywhere & now I have my first ever 'roid. Dd came 2 days late though & both myself & my brother had to be induced after 9 days, according to my mother, but then she had 4 hour labors. I'm hoping as a consolation prize that we get quick labors! Have you all seen the red raspberry leaf tea thread? I was drinking it daily until the bh's began, then I stopped. I might have a cup today or tomorrow.

Crystal, I have already started browsing the November boards. I am not due until teh 21st, but my last 3 were 12, 8, and 8 days late. I have BH every day, from 1 an hour to 5 an hour, but they are mostly just an annoyance.

I fully expect to be a big old pumpkin for Halloween. Dh says we will just birth in the living room and the trick or treaters will think it is just a crazy reality skit!

I'm not due for another 13 days but I really wanted to go a little early. Probably the fact that I want it so bad and am so focused on going into labor everyday is having the opposite effect, who knows.

This morning I woke up deciding that I wouldn't worry about it anymore. Let's see where that takes me.

Honestly, nah. The only thing we have done is sex. And not much at that. DH's hours suck, I am sleeping when he gets home. I don't think I did anything with the last one either though. I am not *against* natural thinsg really... but not really for doing them myself either.

No matter how you look at it... we HAVE to have our babies in a couple weeks

I've been drinking that as well as alfalfa and peppermint, and nettles tea.

I know, I told baby to wait a few days as well till I am better. And honestly, I still have things to do for baby. But I have been SO sore and it has hurt to WALK lately that nothing gets done. I am sick right now, but surprisingly enough I can walk today so I might try to get stuff done anyway lol

Still pregnant here too. 39 weeks with twins but I am happy to go longer since I am hoping baby A will flip to vertex and I'll have them natural vs c/s. In fact, my dr is going to let me go to 42 weeks!!! yay! Can't imagine what that would be like, but whatever it takes... Having BH contractions almost seems like more often than NOT and some longer ones at night, no pain... Hang in there ladies.

Still pregnant here too. I am at 41 weeks now and I am just sick of people calling me. and the round ligament pain is making it really really hard to walk. Has anyone used primrose oil?

I am having a hard time walking too. I also need to use my hands to lift up my legs. I'm glad to hear I am not the only one having a hard time walking. It's just really low that it hurts. NOt even really in my pubic bones so much. So it must be that ligament causing it I guess!

I'm sick of the phone too. People aren't even calling to bug me about if baby is here. I just don't even want to answer the phone just cause I don't want to be bothered at all. lol I am about to turn off emails though if people dont stop emailing to say "Baby here yet??"

I want to reply and say "yeah I had him a week ago and just decided not to tell you".

I'm due the 24th, I get the feeling i'll end up going with you to the November club...

I'm not due till the 31st, and this is my first child so I have a feeling I will also be in the Nov club at some point!

I have been taking Raspberry Leaf & Primrose Oil both in capsule form. I don't know if they are doing anything since I haven't had an internal exam yet. But I do have pretty regular BH contractions.

I've actually gotten a couple contractions today. I was like "yay!!! whoohooo!!!!" ROFL

I really thought I'd be with you gals. I was not due til the 25 or 28th. (28th if you go off of conception, because I am certain when that happened.) I got a surprise and had her on the 8th! My first was 3 days past due date, so right on time full term.

You gals hang in there! These babies will come. I promise!

I've been having painful contractions for weeks - the kind I have to stop & breathe through - what does this mean, anything? Sometimes every 5 min for 45 min at the most, but then it stops. I'm probably at least dilating, right? (birth center doesn't check dilation). I'd like to think I'm making some kind of slow progress if there is pain involved, then when active labor begins, it will be shorter??
