any other women experiencing this?

In the last couple of days, 3 women have complained to me of something that I have also been experiencing lately, so I thought I would ask ya'll and see how many other women are dealing with the same thing.

For the last several months, at least 6 I would say, we have pms that lasts close to two weeks. I mean the kind of pms where one is bloated, uber-irritated, super sore boobs, and one expects their period to start any minute. But it doesn't, it doesn't start for two more weeks. I never even used to get pms at all. The other women who have talked to me about this are a range of ages, but at 36, I am the oldest hag of the bunch, so i don't think age is the issue. One of my friends I was talking to is a midwife, who told me that several of her patients have complained of the same thing.

anyone else?

I am typically super bitchy for one day 7 days before my moon starts. I get a little bloated and ocassionally I get cramps to the point where I want to take something. Sometimes my boobs get sore, but not like when I am preggo. So I probably don't fall into the catagory you are describing.

Not to the degree you mentioned but for the last couple of months I have had the sore boobs and irratability about a week before I get my period. It has been strange since historically sore boobs = period the next day. FTR, I will be turning 40 next month.

Yup. Never had PMS, until about 5 years ago - then I became SUPER RAGING BITCH for 2 weeks every month.

I hate it - and I hate myself during that time.

I'm actually looking forward to hot flashes, 'cause the bloated, ouchy-booby, raging bitch thing is getting old. (Pun intended.)

I used to have the worst PMS, the two week kind. It was like I had one good week a month. I used to tell my husband I felt like my organs were filled with wet sand...that's exactly what it felt like. My back hurt, everything inside me throbbed, I'd gain eight pounds overnight, my chin would become like a wee zit farm. And oh the mood swings! If he could love me through that, we should last forever! And also the unmentionable bathroom issue...

I had forgotten the worst bit...the everyone and everything is sticking to me, the apartment is too small, why are people touching me, wading through jello feeling. I don't know how else to describe it. Just like, profoundly out of sorts and...like the whole apartment was stuck to me and everything was in the way and we must DECLUTTER.

The other big symptom was "I'm dying" - like all these little illnesses would pile up at once and I was convinced that something must be very fundamentally wrong.

I'm sorry, I know this is not about me and my symptoms but I'm so HAPPY to be on the pill and have a PMS free existance!

I experience this as well.. the past 2 yrs I have. I truly only have one "normal" week a month and I wonder how normal it actually is lol.

Yes 8 days a month I actually fit into my clothes.. where I am not tired and feel like I am walking through molasses, where my boobs don't hurt so bad even wearing a bra makes me want to scream in pain. mmmhmm sounds like me.

Is it PMS or ovulation symptoms? I've noticed breast soreness, as well as lower abdomenal soreness on one side or the other, about mid-month some months.

I attribute extra grumpiness at that time to not getting....ahem, what I want....

Depends on who you ask in my household. If you ask DP, he'll say yes.
