Wool Fabrics?

Hi Mamas,

Does anyone know of a good online store that sells wool fabrics (interlock, jersey, etc.) in light colors? The two places I've looked, Diaper Shop and SewShoppe, just have dark colors and I really don't want those to bleed on my dipes.

I haven't looked recently, but fabric.com sometimes has some. Also, have you thought of joining a co-op? I know of one that is actually running a wool co-op right now with interlock and jersey (CradledinCloth1 and CradledinCloth2 at yahoo groups).

ive dyed some wool with the procion dye fron dharma and it looks real nice. the dye takes a while to soak in past the lanolin but its easy to control the colors. i got the wool from a friend so i dont know where it came from but it was just natural colored (cream)

the dye rinses out alot so they are much lighter after rinsing, just rinse till water is clear. the dye from dharma is cheap, the 2oz goes a long way if you make small batches, it may be cheaper to dye it yourself. plus its so fun!
