I thought O pain happened when you ovulate. Well, I had o pain 2 days ago and I'm actually 4dpo. So is the o pain from when the egg comes down??

O pain happens at the exact moment of ovulation - as in, when the follicle releases the egg.

How are you certain it is four days post o, especially if you think the pain you had was o pain? Just curious.

I think in TCOYF she says that the problem with using O pain to pinpoint O is that you can never tell if it is before, during or after O that is causing it. She lists different kinds, sharp- possibly the moment of the egg bursting out, cramps - possibly post o blood etc etc. She only uses it as a secondary sign.

You know what, I sometimes get sensations in that area after O, but it's not O pain. It is the corpus luteam growing. Apparently it reaches it's largest size about 7 days after o and sometimes I can feel it in my pelvis. That could be what you are feeling too?

According to my temp spike I'm 5dpo. I almost think it is after the egg is released.....I guess I'm not really sure its O pain then. I get it around the time of o every month. This is the first month I've felt iton the left in quite a few months.
