"stripping" PUL/fleece pockets

Ok, so I finally realized that the funky smell in my diapers was coming from the pocket, not the insert. I've modified my wash routine slightly, and it seems to be helping, but is there anything else I can do?

Cold water soak/wash with vinegar, followed by hot wash, cold rinse w/ 1/4 scoop Trader Joe's next to godliness powdered laundry soap, followed by an extra rinse, then tumbled dry, medium (the only temp my drier has)

You could try soaking them in baking soda. I just used that stuff on an old chair. I can't smell, but dh said that it smelled WAY better after sitting for 20 minutes and then vacuuming.
