hi moms....i just cant seem to stop!

another wool cover out of an old ugly sweater vest. since there were no sleeves to work with and i couldnt make two covers , it had a deep v-neck, i made booties instead.
the cover still needs leg cuffs and i wasnt syre of what to do with such a wide waistband, so i just folded it over to hide the elastic. i dont think i like the fact that i can see the zigzag stitch, especially in white thread. (too lazy to change the machine...lol)
the booties were so easy, only 3 seams each! i lined them with a hemp corderoy. it was a little thich going through the machine, i probably didnt need the liner with these, the wool so thick. ds isnt near walking yet so a soft bottom is fine, but for an older babe suede or leather would be great!

i showed my mil who was visiting the past few days and she said....""eeewwww, im so allergic to wool, are you sure you should be putting this on my grandson??" even though his very first dipes were wool and hes been wearing them ever since. : gotta love 'em!

Oh help us all! My mil is "allergic" to everything, but I have never seen her have the reaction that I have to her detergent. My son is really not allergic (except tomatoes and her detergent) so we are pretty good. Everything turned out really cute. Next time, I might not line with a thick fabric, but it might be nice to line with a light weight fabric. Great work!
