Hi Oct. Mamas~
I am finally getting on the computer to post! I can't believe my babes are already 6 days old! I was induced (water broken) on Saturday 10/7 around 9am and the babes were born that afternoon. I birthed both babies vaginally without drugs, one head first and the 2nd breech. I'm not ready to write the birth story yet, but hopefully I'll feel like doing that soon.
Introducing:
Baby Boy, Finley Paul Austin born at 4:18pm, 8 lb 2 oz
and
Baby Girl, Jade Aurora Austin born at 4:56pm, 6 lb 15 oz
Both babies are doing great! We have had a few hard nights with a few much easier nights mixed in to keep us going.
Must be nature's way! My milk came in on day 3 and I was able to tandem nurse for the first time that same day. It is so much easier to nurse them at the same time as I can get up and take a bathroom break easier. It feels a little like I've been living in this recliner for 6 days. After my milk came in I got a clogged duct which has kept me down for a few extra days with the chills and achiness, but I am feeling much better today.
