Do early baby teeth mean early adult teeth?

My boys have all gotten teeth around 2-3 months old. Do you know if this correlates with losing baby teeth? Will they lose them earlier? I'm just curious what the experiences are for those of you with older children who teethed early or late.

I don't know if this is scientific, but I got my teeth early (4 months) and lost my first ones at 4 yrs. I've always assumed that getting teeth early made it much more likely to lose them early, but who knows.

DD got her first 2 bottom teeth at 4-5mo and she just turned 6yo and not a single loose tooth. : e1 kept telling me she would loose them early because she cut them early but as of yet I havnt seen any evidence of that happening.

DS got teeth at 4 mths and started losing teeth at 5 yrs. He's lost 3 so far and he's 5.5.

Dd#1 got her two bottom baby teeth at 12 weeks (they weren't all the way in then, just starting to come in). Her first tooth fell out shortly after her 5th bd. I don't know if that's early or not. She hasn't lost a tooth in a year (she's 8), but had lost 9 teeth by age 7. For now, she's got the front 4 on the top and bottom that are adult teeth as well as one bicuspid. (I do know that the dentist said that the bicuspids don't usually come in until 12 or so -- the one she has started coming in at 7.)

My older kids got baby teeth at 4 months but no adult teeth until well over 6.

Our son got his baby teeth right on schedule (6 mos). He lost his first 2 baby teeth at 5 1/2, and I think another's getting loose.

In his K class, only 2 other children have lost teeth, so I think 5 1/2 is pretty early. I had it in my mind as a 1st and 2nd grade thing.

Got her first tooth the day she turned 4 months.

Lost her first tooth when she was 3, ten days before she turned 4.

My oldest two didn't get any teeth until 11 and 13 months. They are now 4 and 6 and have no loose teeth as of yet. The dentist told me that it may happen late, since he got them so late. Maybe it is the same the other way around!

Not in our experience, as of yet. DS got his first teeth at 4 months and stayed ahead of the average all the way through the baby teeth. He'll be six in January and according to our dentist at his last appointment, the adult teeth are coming down but still a ways off from coming "through." So it would seem that with his adult teeth, DS will be more on the average; 7ish for the first ones to fall out.

My oldest got teeth at 19.5 months and lost her first one a couple weeks after she turned 7. She'll be 8 in Nov and just lost her 4th tooth right at the end of August.

My middle dd got her first at 8.5months, she's 5.5 and no signs of losing any. My youngest got her first at 8months, she's 4.5 and no signs of losing any.
