Montessori South Bay

Hi,

Anyone knows of a good montessori school in South Bay?
We'll be moving to South Bay early next year. DD, 3 yo, currently goes to a montessori preschool, and I would love to have her continue at a montessori preschool in South Bay.
DH will be working in San Jose, so SJ and surrounding area will be good (Palo Alto, Sunnyvale, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Cupertino, Milpitas, etc). We haven't decided where we'll live, but we agree that dd's school will be a huge determinant of our next address .
Have you heard of Bowman Int'l school in Palo Alto? Is it a good school? I read their website and it seems like a pretty good school. I love the language immersion program, but it starts from 5yo.

Thanks

Have you checked the AMI website? It has a listing of schools, as does AMS. I think that would be a good place to start. Congrats Nocal, I used to live in the south bay and loved it (met my dh there )

Hi Lousli,

I am so ready to move to south bay , at least over there my allergy is not as crazy as it is here. About AMI and AMS, yes I did check them, but still need some review over which school is good .

Bowman School isn't an immersion program school. Japanese and Spanish are taught in the power grades as a cultural class. Latin starts in 9-12 level. Jap and Span can be dropped in 12-14 level but must take Latin, last I knew. I just withdrew my children from there. Pm me for details. There is Casa di Mir, AMS, in Campbell. It has preschool and elementary. My children went to preschool at Western Montessori in Mountain View, AMI.
