Is a little grain O.K.?

I know, I have waaay to many questions.
I don't know who else to ask.

I have found a source for raw milk that I can actually afford.
The cows are pastured and given 4-5 pounds of grain per cow when brought in to milk. Apparently this keeps them still while milking. This seems like a very small amount.

Are the cows fed any grain from your raw milk sources?

Should this be cause for concern?

That's pretty darned good. If they actually have green grass all the time (as opposed to hay), that would be fantastic.

I am assuming they have green grass all of the time especially in the spring and summer. The farmer has planted rye and winter wheat for the cows this winter, but I'm sure they will get all of the hay they want.
